ENCYCLOPAEDIA OF ALL BOOKS OF HADITH LISTINGS

Is it enough to follow only the hadith of Bukhari and Muslim?

In Encyclopaedia of All Books of Hadith Listings, Dr. Mufty Hafiz Luthfur Rahman Qasimy answers with overwhelming evidence: more than 230 books of hadith and takhrij, containing 808,167 hadith and athar of the Prophet (peace be upon him), the Companions, and the Tabi’in.

This unique reference work catalogs:

- 200 books of hadith with 523,938 hadith and athar — from the Muwatta’ of Imam Malik and the Musnad of Ahmad ibn Hanbal to the six canonical collections and beyond
- 30 books of takhrij and zawa’id with 284,229 hadith and athar — the great works of Ibn Hajar al-‘Asqalani, al-Haythami, al-Suyuti, and others
- The author of every book and his Hijri death date, listed in chronological order — fourteen centuries of hadith scholarship in one place

A powerful answer to the misconception that the Sunnah is confined to two books, and an indispensable map of the vast hadith literature for students, researchers, and every lover of the Prophet’s Sunnah.
